How to cancel Apple subscriptions

Draft guide, not yet approved. Steps may be out of date. Always follow the official help page linked below.

Checked on 24 Oct 2026 against Apple subscriptions's official help page. Steps and button names can change and vary by country and app version, so follow the official page if anything looks different.

The golden rule: cancel wherever you're billed. That could be the website, Apple, Google Play or a partner like your mobile provider.

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open Settings and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions, then the subscription.
  3. Tap Cancel Subscription (you may need to scroll).

Mac

  1. App Store, then your name at the bottom of the sidebar, then your name again, then Subscriptions, then the subscription, then Cancel Subscription.

Windows

  1. Apple Music or Apple TV app, then your name, then View My Account, then Subscriptions: Manage, then Edit, then Cancel Subscription.

Web or Android

  1. Go to account.apple.com and follow the prompts. Apple Music or Apple TV billed through Google Play is cancelled in Google Play.
